LBJ vs. POP

If you asked me before the 2012-2013 NBA season started, I gave three teams that could win the championship, Heat, Thunder, or Spurs. After 5 games in the NBA finals the Spurs lead the Heat 3-2 going back to South Beach. With everyone outside of South Beach rooting for the Spurs, it is hard not to get too excited. Need a humble reminder? Ask Celtics fans.

Last year in the Eastern Conference finals with the Celtics up 3-2 and a chance to win the series in Boston and add on to the legacy LeBron cannot win the big game, LeBron went for 45pts, 15rebs, and 5ast. The only plot to me is if the Spurs coach, Gregg Popovich can stifle LBJ for two more games. Put in perspective, Danny Green has hit 26 3s in 5 games. The Spurs have been living by his big shots. LeBron has not really gone off in this series. There is only so long of Boris Diaw can pretend to defend LeBron?

I think LeBron is a bit quickier than these ladies. Heat in 7.

Pope or 3rd String QB

I am perplexed how ESPN can call  the Patriots signing Tim Tebow as "breaking news". Tim will get more votes at the next pope conclave than he will get snaps next season. I know in Bill we trust, but this move makes little sense. Maybe he contributes in 3 years. Seriously.. I want to see him become pope.. that would be a great story... until then I guess I will have to see him with a clipboard on Sundays instead of giving the homily.
